Job Title: Business Development Manager Responsible For: Developing and advising organisations on learning and development opportunities including apprenticeships and adult skills funding within the company s training portfolio.
Role Purpose: To position the company as a leader in Learning & Development (L&D) by establishing partnerships with businesses and promoting tailored training solutions that meet workforce needs.
Additionally to drive the crossselling of apprenticeships and adult skills courses to employers.
Key Responsibilities: Introduce large levypaying employers to the company s range of training services focusing on apprenticeships and adult skills funding.
Promote crossselling opportunities for adult skills courses and apprenticeships to employers.
Engage in partnership development and account management to meet financial and growth objectives.
Present the company s Learning and Development services through effective communication channels.
Achieve business targets for revenue learners and client accounts.
Work closely with the Senior Management Team on strategic plans for sales growth.
Manage partnerships ensuring financial targets are met and performance monitored.
Expand the company s apprenticeship offerings and design custom programmes that meet employer needs.
Regularly update the CRM to track activity contracts and learner retention.
Build links with national and local organisations to align training offers with employer and learner needs.
Ensure internal processes create a safe supportive learning environment and adhere to safeguarding protocols.
Collaborate with internal teams to meet shared goals and support staff development.
Promote equal opportunities and undertake additional duties as required.
Person Specification: Minimum 3 years experience in business development preferably in the education and skills sector.
Strong experience in corporate account management and senior relationship building.
Proven ability to identify revenue growth opportunities particularly with apprenticeships and adult skills funding.
Knowledge of government policies funding regulations and skills development.
Strong communication relationshipbuilding and project management skills.
Flexibility to meet role demands including occasional travel and evening work.
Other Requirements: Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
