Our client, a leading company in the metals industry, is seeking a Business Development Executive to expand their customer base in the Nordic countries.
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and establish strong relationships while contributing to the companys growth.
Key Responsibilities Expand the customer base in the Nordic countries Conduct research to identify customers, market trends, and perform competitive analysis.
Generate leads via networking, cold calling, and attending exhibitions.
Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
Develop compelling proposals and presentations that align with customer needs.
Work closely with the internal admin team and the Divisional Director on contract negotiations and pricing agreements.
Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
Requirements Experience in the metals industry, specifically specialty metals would be highly advantageous.
Experience in selling into the oil & gas industry preferred.
Experience in the fastener industry preferred.
At least 2 years' sales experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Diplomatic and effective negotiation abilities.
Attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Proficiency in IT, including SAP and Microsoft Windows.
Valid UK driving license.
