Purpose of Role To develop and drive new business sales opportunities utilising a variety of disciplines and processes in a target driven environment.
You will be responsible for proactively building and nurturing long-term relationships with new customers.
You will be required to actively prospect for new business and communicate with customers to understand their needs and requirements, identifying sales opportunities wherever possible.
Cold calling will be a significant part of your day; excellent cold calling skills are essential.
The role seeks to achieve maximum margin, sales, and new business targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals to maximise margin opportunity for the company while gaining new business.
Identify and develop new and existing sales leads.
Conduct cold calling, potential site visits, and research new markets, items, trends, and networking events.
Establish customer requirements and sell products accordingly.
Negotiate with potential or existing customers via phone or email.
Maximise sales opportunities on inbound and outbound sales calls.
Achieve minimum set call rates daily.
Maintain a sound knowledge of the product range.
Follow up swiftly on sales enquiries and send out relevant information.
Ensure all CRM activity is actioned in a timely and accurate manner.
Develop monthly reports highlighting activity undertaken, success ratios, and opportunity tables.
Maintain information in an intuitive manner for easy understanding and use by others in the business.
Actively participate and contribute in all team discussions, meetings, and events, demonstrating a positive attitude to colleagues.
Maintain a flexible and motivated disposition, understanding the constant evolution of the business and how it pertains to the position.
Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to sales activity, health and safety, and quality management.
