Business Development Executive

The role We're now looking for a motivated Business Development Executive, to join us at the Jensten Group.
You'll be based at our Bristol office, and we offer hybrid working options.
Reporting to the Manager, the main purpose of the role is to follow up on leads and referrals, as well as developing & sourcing your own prospective client base.
We specialise in Professional Indemnity for a wide range of Commercial clients, and already have long standing relationships which we're looking to maximise opportunities with too.
Some key objectives & responsibilities will include: Cleansing account information in our database and contacting customers to introduce our services Generation of genuine prospects and sales leads Attend weekly meetings with other members of the team and discuss various growth opportunities, bottlenecks etc.
Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
To understand client's business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g.
FCA About you As one of our Business Development Executive's, you'll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail.
You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general.
You will also be or have: Insurance background (preferred)- Commercial/ Professional Indemnity Insurance ideally Previous experience in a sales/ new business generation type role (essential) Great customer service & sales skills Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance Able to use initiative and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin Rewards & Benefits When you join us,?you can expect?a supportive culture?and?an?attractive range of?rewards and benefits?which include: Competitive salary with an annual pay review and bonus scheme.
