THE OPPORTUNITY We are offering an exciting opportunity for a commercially and technically astute Business Development Associate looking for a progression platform for their career to work on some of the most exciting upcoming projects within the Clean Energy space.
You will support the wider Network Infrastructure team and support on several projects assisting with data analytics, financial modelling, creating presentations and supporting on client proposals.
The right candidate will bring a good understanding of the wider energy market and have proven experience of working within an analytics capacity, looking to really grow their skill set and exposure.
A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY Supporting origination and working on the development of transmission and distribution level large scale energy storage projects in the UK, US and more.
Contributing data insights to support the origination and development of large-scale energy storage projects, including the preparation of high-quality internal investment committee materials.
Using market data (historic & forecast) to build and develop Zenobe's in-house view of battery revenues – trading, ancillary services, National Grid Pathfinders etc.
Working with external market consultants to obtain forecast data and compare revenue forecasts.
Understanding the impact of regulatory requirements on project business cases and NI strategy.
Supporting the development of sales and marketing materials, attending conferences as appropriate.
Helping manage client relationships post financial close.
Contributing to the strategy process – including identifying opportunities to take Zenobe experience to other target markets.

High quality education (bachelor's degree or master's) preferably in engineering or finance related 2 years' experience within an Analytics role within the Renewable Energy/ Electricity/ Utility sector Financial Modelling Skills and excel skills Data analysis experience to take complex datasets and provide key recommendations A genuine passion in clean energy and our social and environmental mission Some work experience in analytics / commercial / business development in the infrastructure or energy sector preferably in energy storage or renewables sectors Strong commercial skills – capable of translating data insights into commercial impact Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting data insights and models to external and internal stakeholders Strong organisation skills, team player and good attention to detail Knowledge of the local energy landscape is preferred Ability to work in the London office once or twice a week WORKING AT ZENOBE We're passionate about sustainability and are proud to offer Team Zenobe a pioneering and collaborative working environment.
