Methods are looking for an experienced Business Case Consultant for a new contract engagement.
You will have overall responsibility for the end-to-end design and delivery of client related Business cases ensuring that implementation is Embedded successfully within the client base.
This includes working collaboratively and engaging with key stakeholders within the Client team and externally as necessary and applying best practice business change techniques to shape and support the successful delivery of the organisational change within Agile or Waterfall environments.
Skills Required: Thorough knowledge of Business Case structure, purpose and ownership within the PPM lifecycle, and the use of Business Cases at differing levels within PPM ; Portfolio, Programme, Project.
Thorough understanding of BC approvals (gateway) processes within the public sector, and required inputs and outputs and key stakeholders to that process including relationship with the Infrastructure and Project's Authority (IPA) where appropriate Understanding of Benefit definition and benefit classifications and how they contribute to the overall change case.
Understanding of Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) methods and techniques profiling associated financial metrics in a clear understandable fashion.
Understanding of how financial cases are constructed using the CDEL/RDEL financial model Ability to quickly understand a business problem/requirement and to effectively translate and communicate to the client how best to approach producing a structure for a Case for Change'.
Ability to form and maintain positive and productive client relationships, adapting to rapid change and changing priorities.
Qualifications & Experience PPM Qualification in Project/programme Management, or extensive experience working within a complex formal project delivery framework Significant Business Change/Analysis experience within Public Sector change and transformation landscape Proven evidence of production of quality business artefacts.
Demonstrable ability to identify, plan and execute the production of a BC over given timelines and approval stages Experience of coaching, training and knowledge transfer techniques to client groups and individuals.
Experience of dealing with highly complex and sometimes challenging client environments.
Understanding of the Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP) would be desirable This role will require you to have Security Clearance.
