We are an expanding global Organization and are seeking a comprehensive Business Analyst to join our IT team to help define business problems and execute, recommend, and deliver strategic improvements.
How will I spend my time in this role?
Investigate business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity.
Take responsibility to deliver change and improvements on efficiency and strengthen the Business processes.
Adopt a holistic view to identify and analyze problems and opportunities.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to get the information required for feasibility assessment.
Document artifacts to help define and manage scoping requirements definition and prioritization activities for strategic and complex IT projects.
Develop models and diagrams to represent and communicate data requirements and data assets.
Aptitude for scrutinizing cost-effectiveness.
Conduct root cause analysis and identify recommendations for improvements.
Follow Agile framework and implement best practices.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
At least 2 years in the energy sector with experience in producing functional analyses for Trading Operations.
Exposure or experience in a Business Analyst role with direct exposure to complex ETRM implementation projects.
Experienced in applying modeling languages to analyze and document designs.
Hands-on software configuration experience in a complex information system context (ETRM).
Experience in setting up automated software development lifecycle.
Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills, and IT affinity.
Experience in data and business process modeling.
Experience and knowledge of capturing requirements.
Ability to plan own data modeling and design activities, selecting appropriate techniques to meet the assigned objectives.
