We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our hugely successful Highways team working on the Norfolk Highways project of works.
The role is based from our Tarmac Norwich site, in Norfolk and is easily commutable from Spixworth, Wymondham, Taverham, Loddon, Aylsham, Hemsby, Great Yarmouth, Gorleston-on-Sea, Hopton, Lowestoft, Beccles, Dereham, Cromer, North Walsham and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility Reporting directly to the Business, Performance & Continuous Improvement Manager, you as the Business Analyst will be responsible for the management of our smart technology with using an array of IT software and platforms, in this role you will be supporting the successful contract delivery for works within the Norwich and Norfolk area by Tarmac and / or our sub-contractors.
You will also support the teams on site (either internal or external providers) to obtain the best possible result for the project and successfully manage any challenge process/processes which our client's may possess.
Other responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive): Support achievement of Company and Contractual KPI's and year-on-year improvement of Contract/Scheme KPI's Responsible for the management and upkeep as well as the latest trends of the BPO, Confirm and Street Manager systems Be the single point of contact for issues, updates and / or troubleshooting as well as providing ongoing training as required across the contract and regional support Responsible for the contracts smart technology and laptops ensuring the correct licensing, procurement and support is in line with our IT policies Owner of the O SharePoint platform, ensuring the correct permissions are applied but not restricted across the contract as well as maintaining Governance of its use and structure Responsible for maintaining Safety Observations and HAVs reporting and looking at key trends as requested by operations Compilation and reporting of KPIs to Senior Management, use of Power BI, producing of QR codes and running of the IT School to employees Looking at trends and data management whilst taking a lead on the identification of IT and Data innovation for the team Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant in the role will be instrumental in the future development and support of our culture.
You will have experience as a Business Analyst within an Infrastructure, Construction, Manufacturing or heavy engineering industry, this experience will be an essential requirement for this role.
