Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our UK Commercial & Corporate (UK C&C) Operations team at Marsh.
This role will be based in the UK.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Business Analyst will be the leading interface and point of liaison between the UK C&C Operations BA team and business stakeholders, as well as IT/3rd Party Software Houses (SWHs), to optimally integrate business processes, solutions, and technology from design through to implementation and transition into BAU.We will count on you to:Deliver requirements for the business while understanding the strategic direction, FCA and London Market regulations, and detailed knowledge of business processes and challenges.Support the UK C&C Operations team in developing options for tactical and strategic solutions.Create feasibility studies to inform business decisions on proposed work.Establish two-way communication channels between the business and IT/3rd Party SWHs to maximise understanding of key drivers.Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop and implement solutions for improvement.Provide training, coaching, and guidance to junior team members, ensuring solutions meet business needs.What you need to have:Superb communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate across project/programme teams and with the business to Executive level.Experience in insurance applications, including end-to-end processes, testing, workflow management, and financial transactions.A solid understanding of insurance technology to support business strategy in line with the insurance underwriting lifecycle.What makes you stand out:Experience of working within an Agile delivery team and familiarity with insurance platform and product development.Excellent analytical and interpretive skills, including documentation of functional and non-functional requirements.Innovative and adaptable approach to problem-solving, with the ability to drive efficiency through business process management.Why join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world's top insurance broker and risk advisor.
