Working with sector and discipline leads to assess opportunities, create and manage a pipeline of work, you will drive growth across Europe whilst managing business to business activities. You will play a pivotal role in resourcing and team selection, bringing together specialist multi professional teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
You'll be responsible for: Leading strategy development & business plansLeading go to market strategy, client relations and business development/position of the Advisory service offer across EuropeLeading service excellence and quality management on commissions across a portfolioLeading the professional development, retention and progression of talented teamsDeveloping thought leadership and industry insights to raise the profile of the Mace advisory offerAchieving operational excellence, delivering the required commercial outcomesSetting the tone culture and model behaviours for Mace advisoryTechnical leadership of Mace with a visible presence in external market as a thought leaderInfluencing strategic development & executes strategy to achieve vision across function and/or teamsSetting priorities and providing input into execution plan in the achievement of departmental key performance indicators (KPIs)Accountable for business (and pipeline) development and work winning, bringing together appropriate capabilities and resourcing to fulfil current and future client needsLeading multiple commission teams to achieve agreed outputs, taking a leadership role working across multiple organisations and sectorsHolding full accountability for the performance of portfolio of commissions and/or service linesMaintaining, cultivating and establishing a strong collaborative network, developing partnerships with key senior internal and external stakeholdersYou'll need to have: Experience of developing a vision and leading all aspects of deliveryExperience of strategic leadership in all components of project and programme management and delivery (policy, strategy, client environment) related to property or infrastructureExperience of delivering client or organisational strategyAbility to apply cross sector thinkingConsidered a subject matter expert in one or more specialist capabilities e.g. financial modelling, governance, transformation, planning, business case etcIn depth experience of delivery of an advisory service and demonstrates added value to programme and project deliverySignificant experience of leading a service line in specialist fieldStrategic thinking/global mindsetAbility to generate new and unique options or solutions to complex issuesIn depth experience of stakeholder management and client relationship on complex and politically/commercially sensitive programmes and/or projects in an unstable environmentAbility to prioritise competing demands across a portfolio of commissionsAbility to manage conflict gaining positive outcomes for the client and teamAdvanced presentation and report writing skills, ability to influence c-suite decision makers and/or politiciansAbility to lead teams on multiple commissions in uncertain political and economic environmentsLead a multi-professional team across a portfolio of diverse commissionsAbility to fulfil the role of commission directorProven ability to secure work packages from new and existing clients and create a future pipeline of workLine management experience at a service line levelExperience of taking ownership for overall function performance by taking on corporate responsibilitiesYou'll also have: System thinking/leadership experience - ability to make sense of complex markets and sectorsEvidence of global transformation in a market/sectorManagement or leadership qualification (e.g. CMI, MBA etc) (or equivalent)Formal coaching or mentorship experienceMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
