Building Surveyor

We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning Housing Association based across the South West , who are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Yeovil , Salisbury , Weymouth and Bristol .
The role offers hybrid working (2/3 days home working), a salary of £46,200 and benefits including a fuel card and a company van .
The ideal candidate must have either a HNC/HND or a similar qualification.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): Completing reactive maintenance surveys on domestic dwellings across the South West, largely focused on damp and mould Ensuring opportunities for cost reduction and cost management of repairs are taken, without compromising on the quality of repairs Diagnosing the causes of damp and condensation, as well as complex works, and post inspect remedial works to ensure specifications have been followed and adhered to Monitoring the work of contractors to ensure that works and meeting pre-agreed KPIs Ensuring value for money in the effective procurement and delivery of a repairs service Experience and Qualifications required: Experience required in Social Housing HNC/HND or any other relevant qualification Rewards and benefits: Hybrid working Flexible working days Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
