The Role The successful applicant will play a key role in assessing potential claims for housing disrepair under s.9/10 & 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act (disrepair & Fitness for Habitation).
In addition, they will review external defendant expert reports / schedules of works and assist our team of solicitors by providing expert knowledge on building pathology and repairs.
Applications are welcomed on a full time or part time basis and can involve remote working where necessary but a occasional presence in our offices in Central Manchester would be advantageous.
The Successful Applicant ·        Experienced residential building Surveyor with an excellent understanding of building pathology.
·        Ideally experienced in Housing Disrepair / Conditions ·        Able to approximate the value of remedial works.
