Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading building services company in their search for a Building Services Engineer - Mechanical Bias to work on one of their prestigious sites in Cardiff What our client is offering for the successful Building Services Engineer - Mechanical Bias: Staring Basic Salary of £38,000 per annum, which will rise to £40,000 after a successful probation period Shift allowance of £2500 Working hours, 7am-7pm | 7pm-7am 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 12 hour shifts 22 Days holiday Pension Company phone Training & development opportunities Permanent Role The Role - Building Services Engineer - Mechanical Bias Undertake the maintenance and repair of the Gas, Plumbing, and Mechanical service, including fabric tasks of buildings as required under contract Completing planned and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings Completing the appropriate paperwork & reports Working on commercial heating & plumbing systems Completing service, maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown Supervising on-site sub-contractors What we are looking for in the successful Building Services Engineer - Mechanical Bia C&G/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification - ESSENTIAL Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1 etc) - BENEFICIAL NVQ/City & Guilds level 3 in Plumbing - BENEFICIAL City & Guilds F-Gas / City & Guilds 18th Edition - BENEFICIAL Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment Including, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable) Previous experience in a similar service & maintenance role ESSENTIAL Proven fault finding & breakdown experience ESSENTIAL Key skills or similar Job titles: Combustion Engineer, Commercial Heating engineer, HVAC Engineer, Gas Engineer, Boiler Engineer, Commercial Gas Engineer, Multi Skilled Gas Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Commercial Plumber, Building Services Engineer, Facilities Engineer, M&E Engineer Commutable From: Cardiff, Caerphilly, Newport, Bridgend, Pontypridd, Blackwood, Port Talbot For further information about this and other positions please apply now.
