A multi-discipline practice in London is looking to add three Building Safety Regulations Principal Designers to their Health & Safety division.
My client is a medium-sized practice that boasts over five offices across the UK, employing over 60 construction professionals across cost & project management, building surveying, and M&E.
The organisation prides itself on delivering accurate advice across the built environment, including commercial, education, residential, industrial, healthcare, and defence sectors.
Due to continued success and a healthy pipeline of instructions, an opportunity has arisen for a Building Safety Regulations Principal Designer to join the division.
The successful BSR PD will work in collaboration with other departments undertaking projects across London, the South-East, and other surrounding home counties.
Responsibilities Providing comprehensive advice on Building Safety Act & Building Regulations Ensuring all projects and works are carried out under the new safety act Carrying out building inspections, site visits, surveys, and preparing reports Inspecting buildings at key stages of construction Working closely with Principal Designers, Contractors, Architects, and other teams to ensure project compliance Attending client and design team meetings to offer professional input related to building regulations compliance Reviewing and approving plans submitted for Building Regulation approval Minimum Requirements BSc in Building Surveying or other construction-related degree A full Member of RICS, CABE, or CIOB Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations/Building Safety Act (etc.
