Building Safety Project Manager – Technical Hybrid Working £450 per day negotiable Initial 3 month contract Inside of IR35 (Umbrella) – London Baltimore Consulting is currently supporting our client, a London borough council, with exciting new roles across their Building Safety Team on an interim basis for an initial 3 month period with the view to extend.
Your role as the Building Safety Project Manager: Inspecting, managing and delivering building safety across the housing portfolio.Operate across the Building Safety Team working on a range of specialist activities, such as the inspection of tall blocks to ensure the safety of cladding systems and compartmentation surveys.Identifying remediation works and preparing Safety Case Files and Safety Case Reports to meet the requirements of the Building Safety Regulator.Actively managing building safety across the Council's housing assets, particularly in respect of high-rise blocks, ensuring buildings are safe, well maintained, and improvements undertaken where required.Provide a specialist operational function working to ensure the detailed technical inspection of buildings, the identification of remedial works where required, and the instruction of fire engineers and other specialists as necessary to ensure that our buildings are safe.Supporting compliance with both statutory and non-statutory legislation, Building Regulations, and the requirements of the Building Safety Bill.Your previous experience as the Building Safety Project Manager: Possess a minimum of 5 years experience working in the private/public sector in a property maintenance, housing, or construction environment.Significant demonstrable experience of building regulations and the requirements of the recent Building Safety Regulations.Clear understanding of the requirements of the Building Safety Bill and other emerging requirements, regulations, and guidance.Strong Project Management skills and stakeholder engagement.If you're interested in discussing this opportunity in more detail or know someone who may be interested, please contact Vic Singh on 0117 3137110 or apply today.
