**This role is full time onsite at DXC Erskine** A Build Operative is an outstanding individual who can time manage and prioritise workload to reach our targets and exceed customer expectations.
You will be responsible for the ownership of the entire laptop, tablet and desktop process, including both internal and external communication to co-ordinate each request from beginning to end.

Responsibilities Initiate and monitor automated installation of Operating System builds on a range of laptop and desktop devices.
Basic troubleshooting of problems Basic installation/update of firmware, software, and security updates Collate statistics and maintain records.
Meet daily targets for all devices.
Prepare products for shipping.
Highlight risks, opportunities, and improvements.
Operate to schedules agreed with the Team Lead Leverage into various functions in the operation to meet shifting demand and work type requirements.
Prioritise tasks to facilitate shipping to meet or exceed deadlines.
Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment Personal Skills, Knowledge & Experience Familiarity with basic computing concepts and terminology Completion of background investigation Ability to work under pressure.
Strong accurate Data Entry Skills required.
Strong people skills.
Good moral character Microsoft Office experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel - preferred Positive work history and work ethic Available to work extended hours as required.
Has the ability to communicate clearly and concisely?
Post holder will be a technically, administratively, and operationally capable and confident individual who will be responsible for the build process from beginning to end.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday (typically 8:0016:00) on-site.
