We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support to learner/s for the duration of their course.
About the role:
As Learning Support Assistant, you will work as part of a team of LSAs.
Your role will include:
Support learners in class 1:1 or in small groups, working at a range of levels from entry level to L3 across all curriculum areas Use strategies to help students with reading, writing and maths skills Support students during their exams Keep careful records of all LSA support provided Assist the lecturer within the learning environment so support is delivered sensitively and effectively
To fulfil the role of Learning Support Assistant you will have:
English & Maths level 2 A relevant LSA qualification or willingness to take one a distinct advantage Good IT, numeracy, oral and written communication skills A sound understanding of the purpose of the Additional Learning Support function Excellent interpersonal skills Experience of working with young people or adults with learning difficulties, preferably in an education setting
