Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Brokerage Analyst to be based within the London office.
Main responsibilities within the Brokerage Analyst position include: Conduct in-depth analysis of futures brokerage processes, providing actionable insights to areas requiring improvements.
Provide analysis over billing process, to ensure better collection rates.
Assess the current control environment and provide recommendations on improvements.
Oversee and streamline brokerage operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with risk management, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment on operational processes and policies.
Work with product and technology teams to enhance Rate capture and brokerage flows.
Document procedures over the brokerage process front to back.
Serve as the primary point of contact for complex client inquiries related to futures brokerage.
Develop training materials and conduct educational sessions for clients and internal teams on futures products and market dynamics.
Collaborate with the, trading, Operations and IT teams to optimise trading processes and reduce risk.
Participate in strategic discussions, offering insights on market best practice, client behaviour.
Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in brokerage, or a related field.
Proven track record in a role within a brokerage firm.
Deep understanding of futures, trading strategies, and brokerage operations.
Proficiency in financial analysis, risk assessment, and market research.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience presenting to clients and stakeholders.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements, compliance, and audit processes in the futures industry.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, and other MS products.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Analytical, data-driven mind-set with the ability to interpret complex data.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
