Great benefits for this Quality Control position: 37 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am to 4pm (Friday); flexi-time is available between 7.30 and 9am and 4 and 6pm (4.30pm on Fridays) Overtime time and half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays 5% pension Private healthcare 2 x base salary life insurance Within the role youll be responsible for ensuring all products meet company standards.
Responsibilities for the Quality Control Inspector include: Verifies mechanical and machining materials based upon drawings and test specifications.
Inspection of Basic/ Simple fabricated and machined components to engineering drawings.
Perform mechanical inspections (under supervision) for components and completed assemblies, paint shop inspections, visual inspections, and thickness.
The ideal candidate for this Quality Control role: 1-2 years experience in quality control activities within a mechanical component environment will be apprentice trained in machine tools Previous experience of using measuring equipment.
