Role: Cooplands Brand Trainer Location: Durham, DH1 2HE Hours: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: £27,295 Company: Cooplands Bakery About the role Our Cooplands team has an opportunity available for a Brand Trainer across multiple sites in Durham and Scarborough.
Working in our Stores, the Brand Trainer is responsible for ensuring the training, development and upskilling of colleagues across Retail.
Working with the operational teams you will identify, develop, plan, deliver and evaluate learning across the business.
You have responsibility for delivering mandatory, operational and development training to a high standard.
What will my role look like?
Working closely with the operational teams, you will champion training and development within Cooplands, by identifying, designing and facilitating appropriate development solutions.
Your role is to be proactive to help the business to create a learning culture and approach which will support our strategy.
You will lead the Retail L&D Team, develop meaningful relationships with colleagues and influence activity by using data, reports and evidence.
Role Duties: Deliver face to face and virtual learning across Retail, including delivery of the induction programme, supporting initiatives and business change, using a blend of learning resources Ensure the learning experience is positive; facilitating discussions effectively & addressing any questions that arise Being present in the field to understand how to support ongoing operational improvement and agile to respond to these needs Agile to adapt training for location, group size, learning styles, etc Proactively liaise with operational teams to understand future training requirements Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the training ensuring that any knowledge and skill gaps are identified, and appropriate actions / interventions are put in place Complete training records, provide data and reports and manage the administration of training programmes Collaborate with colleagues to ensure training is delivered consistently, opportunities for improvement are put into place and the training provision meets the required need Demonstrated ability to identify needs, develop tools, deliver training (face-to-face & online) and evaluate learning A working knowledge of blended learning and 70/20/10 methodology Strong communication and relationship building skills Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and manage time to meet deadlines across multiple projects Experience of designing & developing learning resources using a variety of tools e.g., Canva, Word, PowerPoint, Video editing tools Experience of using online tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Excel Willing to travel, adaptable and flexible with regards to hours A training background in Food Retail would be advantageous Candidate Requirements Professional training qualification desirable Experience/knowledge of working in Food Retail - desirable Full clean driving license essential Whats in it for me?
