How you'll play your partIn this role, you will support the Lead Generation Retail Sales Specialists through structured and regular product training to ensure they are equipped with the right level of knowledge to generate strong leads for the network, as well as being a first line of support for any queries the LGRSS cannot answer.
Main Accountabilities Ensure the team are made aware and training on all new product releases across the brands we support and that this is followed up with written training support material.Analyse the team's current performance to identify gaps in their product knowledge and 'plug' these through training programmes whether individually or in groups.To complete weekly QA on the teams work to ensure their quality is to the level required and that any gaps/problems identified are shared with the relevant Team Leader.To ensure that all training is measurable and that the impact of any training delivered is measured to allow us as a team to track whether training is effective.To be the first line of support for any queries the LGRSS cannot answer on either the phone, LiveChat or over email and that you remain visible for this.To independently maintain a strong level of knowledge of our products and services, as well as the wider automotive industry.To deputise for the Team Leaders when they are not present in the form of supporting with the workflow and stakeholder queries.
About you Previous experience of working in the automotive industry is preferable.Prior experience in training or development role is preferable.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with liaising with all levels of an organisation.Excellent attention to detail to ensure our work is reviewed to a high standard.The ability to influence colleagues and managers around to their way of thinking.Strong analytical skills to enable the Brand Specialist to identify gaps in the teams knowledge.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.The ability to self-motivate to ensure personal product and automotive industry knowledge is kept up to date.
