We're experiencing a significant and exciting period of global expansion and we're looking for talented, ambitious individuals to help drive meaningful impact across the business.  About the role The Innovation Manager role will create and deliver innovation launches that will fuel incremental growth for Nelson's portfolio of brands globally.
Lead exciting innovation NPD projects for Nelson's brand portfolio as part of the 3year innovation pipeline.
Understand global consumer and shopper insights/needs, category/macro trends and the competitive landscape to create and strengthen product concepts.
Translate innovation concepts into clear product and packaging briefs including identifying hero ingredients, compelling claims and desired sensory profiles.
Partner with R&D and external suppliers to create exceptional products that meet these briefs and iterate prototypes to ensure they delight consumers.
Create compelling artwork briefs that clearly communicate innovation propositions on-shelf Develop, validate and ensure legal approval for a suite of compelling claims, taking into account the local market's consumer and regulatory needs.
Partner with markets to ensure their local needs and nuances are built into plans to maximize launch impact and deliver projects on time and with excellence.
Track and analyse performance of innovation launches in market vs launch KPIs and make recommendations on how to improve future launches.
Lead EPD projects, co-ordinating with markets to ensure effective delivery and successful launch.
Requirements We'd love you to have Demonstrable experience in a marketing role with demonstrated experience in creating and launching innovation projects for consumer brands.
A passion for innovation, consumer insights and creating new concepts and products.
Experience in branded Consumer Healthcare, FMCG or similar consumer-driven categories.
