Job summary We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Sandbach, Cheshire.
The successful applicant will need to have experience within complex care as well as hold a full UK drivers license and be happy driving a WAV.
Alongside the day to day support our client will require, the support worker will be working with Occupational Therapists and SALT.
Main duties of the job The support worker will be responsible for engaging with personalised routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for the client.
The role requires previous experience in a similar role, the ability to deal with challenging behaviours, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

As our client does have a family we are looking for a support worker who enjoys working with the whole family and be an integral part of their lives.
Pay Rate: £ - £ Working Hours: This will start with adhoc shifts with a view to increase to regular shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines.
Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
Providing emotional support and companionship.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Regular supervisions and Check Ins Both online and In-person training Training & Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
