Job Description Brook Street are working with a highly reputable client based in Swansea who are looking for a Bookkeeper/HR professional to join their ever growing team.
The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 4:30 and is offering £26,000/year.
The client are prepared to go above that if all requirements are met.\n \nResponsibilities:\n \n \n Manage all financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely reconciliation.
\n Oversee payroll processing, including calculating hours, deductions, and employee payments.
\n Track and manage invoices, expenses, and financial reporting.
\n Ensure compliance with accounting standards, payroll regulations, and tax requirements.
\n Collaborate with external accountants and auditors as needed.
\n Support onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
\n Administer employee benefits and address HR-related inquiries.
\n Manage recruitment, from job postings to candidate interviews and hiring decisions.
\n Develop and implement HR policies to foster a positive workplace culture.
\n \nRequirements:\n \n \n \n AAT Bookkeeper's Certificate (essential).
\n Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and HR management.
\n Strong knowledge of accounting software (experience with Xero preferred).
\n High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial and HR data.
\n Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
\n Familiarity with labor laws and payroll regulations.
