Job summary We are looking for a vibrant, confident person to join the team to help deliver a high quality service in Women's Services at Ipswich Hospital.
We need key staff, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail, to work here.You will need to have the ability to work on your own initiative and you must be able to remain calm in difficult situations.You will be required to work within timed pathways and comply with national and local waiting time targets.We have part time 20 hours per week post until 31/03/2025.Please be aware we might close the post earlier if sufficient amount of applications received.
Main duties of the job Main duties will include supporting the Outpatients Service for patients attending Gynaecology appointments.You will operate a computerised appointment system to schedule/reschedule patient appointments.
You will also work closely with medical secretaries and clinical staff to ensure that clinics work efficiently in a day to day basis.You must have basic keyboard skills andhave a clear and confident telephone manner.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar environment within an NHS setting.
You will need to have excellent organisational skills as this is a fast paced environment to work in.
