We are currently looking for a PT Book-keeper.
This is a part time position but with potential to be full time.
ASAP Start 25 hours a week with flexible hours This is perfect role for someone who a business background.
It maybe you are retired but still want to work in an office-based position with a growing friendly company.
As a Book-keeper, your main responsibility will be to ensure accurate financial records, reporting, and reconciliation.
Your meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be key in successful performance.
Essentially, we are seeking a Part-Time Book-keeper to join our Finance Team, someone comfortable working in a position with full responsibility for processing all elements of accounts and payroll including the production of monthly management accounts.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team to ensure the smooth running of any other tasks such as expense queries and payroll.
Bookkeeping/Accountancy qualification is preferred, but not essential.
The role works very closely with the General Manager and is suited to somebody looking for a working environment which are caring, empathetic and supportive.
25hrs per week and fully flexible how these are completed.
Part-Time Bookkeeper Skills & Experience * Must have at least 2 years experience in Bookkeeping or similar * Complete and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring proper filing and reporting * Credit control of overdue invoices and allocate incoming cash to correct invoices * Liaise with third-party service providers and customers for correct cost allocation and recharging * Payroll experience – all monthly processes * Accounts Payable * Accounts Receivable * Budgets, forecasts and cashflow * Bank Reconciliations * Monthly Management Account Production * Year end processes * Must be proficient in Sage 50 and Sage Payroll or similar * Competent user of Excel * Must be a car driver – as at times you are required to attend out of office meetings.
Part-Time Book-keeper attributes * Proactive, logical and methodical thinker comfortable working a small business environment * Empathetic with good communication skills comfortable dealing in person and by phone with internal and external stakeholders.
* Team player who quickly establishes relationships who is confident and able to manage all elements of finance in a small business.
