As we continue to grow, ABL 1 Touch are looking to recruit a Bodyshop Manager to join our Team based in Crayford.
As a Bodyshop Manager, you will play the leading role in the running of our Production Workshop, overseeing site and employee performance, safety, quality and customer service.
You will ensure that policy and process is followed, and consistency maintained across all workshop operations and that a safe working environment is operated and maintained at all times.
Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Manager will include: Productivity of workshop Maintaining level of quality, including Quality control Ensuring that all required documentation including check sheets are completed comprehensively Communication with Production Director on constraints to productivity and maintenance High levels of housekeeping maintained Statutory requirements fulfilled by operators (health and safety, COSHH etc.)
Insurance company requirements are maintained Ensure non-productive time kept to a minimum.
Productivity targets achieved.
Skills and experience required as a Bodyshop Manager: Previous experience as a site / Bodyshop in the automotive industry Minimum of 5 years experience in the Body repair of motor vehicles environment Strong people management experience, with the ability to lead a team to deliver results.
Motor manufacturer qualifications and experience and an understanding of modern repair processes and techniques Pro-active approach to managing the customer journey customer focused and eager to get it right first time.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Well organised with an ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload.
Good attention to detail and comfortable using MS office.
Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
