Job Title: Medical & Veterinary Assembly Operative Location: Marden, Kent Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) Job Type: Full time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7.30am to 4.00pm.

Approximately 50% of the products are still manufactured at HQ in Marden which now boasts an extensive range of capabilities including; CAD design, CNC machining, laser cutting, metal fabrication, plastic fabrication, wood shop, paint shop, full assembly & testing.
Although still focused on the veterinary sector, this company have diversified into allied areas such as vehicle conversions for canine transportation and animal ambulances to grooming equipment and aquatic systems.
About the Role: This company has a new vacancy for an Assembly Operative primarily working on Autoclaves.
Working in our purpose-built assembly workshop, helping to put together components produced on site to make a wide range of products mainly for veterinary use, such as anaesthesia machines, operating tables, autoclaves, vaporisers, ECG monitors and ventilators as well as aquatic systems.
Some repetitive tasks but generally a wide range of different products to assemble with lots of variety.
The operation of the department is overseen by the Assembly Manager, Assembly Operatives revert to the Senior Assembly Operatives for the day-to-day workflow activities.
Responsibilities & Duties: Use tools to make or repair parts and products Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, or other verbal or written instructions Work with other members of the team in order to assemble products Keep a clean and tidy workspace Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise Observe and follow company Health & Safety rules and regulations About you: Qualifications & Skills: Attention to detail Excellent hand-eye coordination Good basic assembly skills and mechanical aptitude Experience of electrical assemblies would be an advantage Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time Ability to use hand tools competently Ability to understand and follow assembly drawings Full training on the job will be given Benefits: Full-time permanent contract, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Discretionary monthly bonus scheme Idyllic countryside setting Excellent opportunities to train and progress 33 holiday days per year (inc.
