Bioinformatician

Senior Bioinformatician: I'm looking for a Senior Bioinformatician for my client who is a fast-growing biotech company based in the UK offering 4 days remote with only 1 day on site in Oxford.

My clients are eager to find someone as soon as possible with 1st stage interviews happening at the end of this week.

Key Responsibilities: Report research findings to high standard and communicate to internal and external audiences as required.
Define research objectives and execute analysis of -omics datasets including bulk RNAseq, spatial transcriptomics and proteomics to inform GPR65 clinical programs.
Pursue state of the art computational research approaches for the identification of novel pharmacodynamic and patient response of biomarkers.
Experience: PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics or similar related disciplines, with experience of independent research in academic or pharmaceutical industry settings.
Solid understanding of clinical statistics and machine learning approaches for patient selection and biomarker research.
Ability to work across a range of projects and scientific objectives whilst maintaining attention to detail, plus ability to respond quickly and flexibly to changing priorities.
