What will you be doing?
Organising pre-submission documents and reference materials for bids Analysing client needs, cross-reference technical questions and creating templates aligning questions with the specification Completing essential details in selection questionnaires for tenders, streamlining the submission process Taking ownership of the PQQ process – this includes collating data of past bids and uploading them onto the knowledge base system to maintain accurate records Completing the bid/no-bid document Ensuring bids are formatted according to client or company standards (fonts, layouts, tables) Assisting with proofreading drafts for grammar, clarity, and consistency Assisting with gathering insights on competitors, market trends, or past bid results to help craft competitive proposals Ensuring the proposal complies with the client's requirements by checking regulations, specifications, and guidelines Acting as a communication point between departments and stakeholders to gather required inputs for the bid Coordinating with the bid team to manage workflow, prioritise tasks, and ensure smooth execution of bid-related activities Writing or editing basic sections of the bid, such as company introductions, qualifications, or non-technical sections Assisting in selecting or developing case studies, testimonials, and evidence of past success to include in bids Creating and maintaining bid templates for future use and ensuring consistency across multiple bids Requirements A degree in fields such as, English, Communications, Marketing, or related disciplines Precision and accuracy in handling complex bid documents, ensuring no errors or omissions Ability to assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading high-quality written content that is clear, concise, and persuasive Capability to manage multiple bids and tasks simultaneously, prioritizing workload to meet strict deadlines Ability to gather, analyse, and present information Comfortable working as part of a team, collaborating with various departments Ability to manage time effectively, ensuring all aspects of bid preparation are completed promptly Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities, bid requirements, and deadlines Analytical skills to identify gaps in proposals and suggest solutions to ensure compliance and quality Ability to reliably commute to our office in Rochdale Hours: 35 per week Benefits Become part of our team at Language Empire and you'll find an inclusive culture which prizes mutual respect, innovation and high performance.
