Appointment Type Permanent Full Time/Part Time Full-time Specialism Sales/Bids Hours 37.5 Location We are willing to consider, Birmingham, London, Wakefield, Luton, Bishop's Stortford, Croydon or Manchester Working Practice Hybrid Job Reference 10540 Job Description Pell Frischmann is excited to offer an opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to join our dynamic bid team and the role can be based in any of our Birmingham, London, Wakefield, Luton, Bishop's Stortford, Croydon or Manchester office.
As part of the team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth by working closely with technical leads to manage and produce high-quality, winning bid submissions across various sectors and regions in the UK.
In this role, you will focus on coordinating the development of bid responses, managing bid structure, content, and addressing tender questions, ensuring all submissions meet the required processes and deadlines.
Reporting to the Bid Manager, your key duties and responsibilities will include: · Coordinating the bid submission process with the Technical Lead, ensuring a clear understanding of weighting and evaluation criteria, and handling bid submissions.
· Collaborating with the Technical Lead and teams to develop and design high-quality proposals, including bid submissions, interview presentations, and capability documents.
· Using client portals to gather tender information, submit clarifications on behalf of the Technical Lead/teams, and handle proposal submissions.
· Logging assigned bids and maintaining up-to-date records on all internal systems.
· Proofreading and formatting final materials, contributing technical and commercial writing where necessary.
· Regularly updating a library of company standard SQ and tender responses, including CVs and case studies.
· Working closely with the wider bid team to create winning proposals.
· Providing administrative support to the bid team as needed.
· Completing supplier questionnaires.
· Identifying opportunities to improve the bid process and sharing best practices with the team.
· Maintain and update the Awards calendar regularly.
The Ideal Candidate As an experienced Bid Coordinator with a proven track record, you will demonstrate a strong passion for writing and meticulous attention to detail.
Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to convey information both technically and creatively.
Additionally, you will: · Have a minimum of 1 years' experience working as a Bid Coordinator/Bid assistant/Proposal assistant or a similar role.
· Hold a degree-level qualification (desirable).
· Possess an understanding of professional services and/or the construction industry (preferred).
· Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, with a solid degree of commercial awareness.
· Be capable of multi-tasking and working effectively under tight deadlines in high-pressure situations.
· Have experience formatting, reviewing, and proofreading content for accuracy and clarity.
· Be a team player and effective communicator, able to build and maintain professional relationships with both clients and colleagues.
· Demonstrate excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills, ensuring bids align with company branding and style.
· Be highly proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint formatting.
· Have an excellent command of both spoken and written English (mandatory).
