Bid Manager Join a prestigious global law firm seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join their dynamic bids team.
This crucial role supports the firm's business development initiatives by crafting and managing persuasive proposals and presentations aimed at winning new business.
Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, the Bid Manager will: Lead the Bid Development Process: Oversee the entire lifecycle of bid preparation, including the development and production of proposals, responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), and pitch presentations.
Ensure all materials are customized, strategically focused, and reflect the firm's brand voice and messaging.
Collaborate with Senior Stakeholders: Work closely with partners, practice group leaders, and senior management to define the strategy for each bid.
Develop winning approaches that emphasize the firm's strengths and unique value propositions.
Identify key differentiators and establish themes that increase the chances of success.
Create and Refine Pitch Documents: Draft, edit, and finalize high-quality pitch documents, ensuring that all content is clear, accurate, and consistent.
Develop supplementary materials such as placemats, infographics, and case studies that support the pitch and highlight the firm's expertise.
Coordinate Cross-Departmental Input: Liaise with various teams across the firm, including legal practice groups, marketing, and business development, to gather the information needed for bids.
Facilitate the sharing of insights and data to strengthen proposal content.
Improve Processes and Content: Continuously enhance the pitch process by refining templates, updating content repositories, and implementing best practices to improve efficiency.
Leverage data and feedback to drive improvements in the quality of proposals and presentations.
