Bidvest Noonan are currently looking for an experienced Bid Manager with Facilities Management experience to join their team.
This is a remote position therefore can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom.
As Bid Manager you will be involved in working as part of the business development team to draft high quality management responses to Invitations to Tender, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Expressions of Interest, as well as developing service delivery models and solutions in conjunction with the operational teams with the aim of winning and retaining business.
Key responsibilities of a Bid Manager - Management of end-to-end processes in line with bid governance and bid timelines.
- To programme manage bid activity on behalf of business development teams, including bid development, final bid document submission, bid award and (if appropriate) handover to mobilisation.
- Organising and facilitating go/no go sessions, bid kick-off and solution meetings in conjunction with the primary sales leads and other contributors.
- Onward development and ownership of written and visual responses.
- Communicate with various departments within the business to obtain information, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Review and update the tender library.
- Create organisational charts and other graphics.
- Create PowerPoint presentations.
- Research clients to gain a clear understanding of their requirements.
Experience And Qualifications of a Bid Manager - Direct experience of facilities management technical and tender process - Sound knowledge of the facilities management market in general preferably within soft/security services.
- Experience in a bid/proposal management environment.
- Impeccable time management, allowing prioritisation of a complex and varied workload.
- Strong time management skills along with experience in working to tight deadlines.
