Job summary Berwick Ward is a busy, acute 28 bedded Ward that specialises in Cardiology and Endocrinology with Elective and Emergency admissions.
We have an excellent multidisciplinary team approach and work with an exceptional, extended team.
We are looking for experienced Clinical Support Workers, hospital experience is desirable but not essential.
A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths, Care Certificate and or NVQ2 two in health and social care or the equivalent role.
Your role will be to provide delegated clinical procedures such as insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment and simple dressings, removal of urinary catheter, training will be provided Successful applicants will be required to complete an Induction course, which will include all the Trust statutory/Mandatory training to join our team inviting them to share their knowledge and experience with the ward; you will need to be well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development.
