BEMS Project Engineer - London Alarm Communications Limited are a leading team of fire protection, commercial security and building management systems specialists, with our Head Office located in Surrey. Our client base is predominantly built of prestigious buildings and landmarks, such as high-end hotels, stadia and education establishments in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new BEMS Project Engineer specifically covering the London region.
Basic Salary – £30-40,000 Basic Salary, Subject to experience

Responsibilities: Maintain & service existing BEMS systems, identifying and rectifying any faults or irregularities and ensuring all remedial and small projects are delivered successfully on time to specification, with the intention of always exceeding the client's expectations.Proactive field-based customer facing activity, focusing on quality, customer relationships and service delivery.Attend customer sites to investigate and rectify faulty control systems, including field wiring, electrical control panels, GUI's and BMS controllers.Undertake service and maintenance of control systems on customer sites following detailed service schedules.Control panel modifications and installations as required.Small works projects or remedial works.Provide the customer with written reports detailing works carried out and highlight and detail any further works required to rectify faulty equipment.Ensure that the Company's Quality standard and other compliance standards are continually maintained and adhered to.Who We're Looking For: Strong engineering background with a minimum of 5 years as a BEMS Service Engineer.Solid experience of TREND hardware, networks and or Tridium control platforms.C & G level 2 upwards or equivalent Electrical qualifications.Able to demonstrate strong diagnostic skills on control problems.Must have an excellent mechanical plant knowledge.Happy to work within a team but also have a proactive approach working alone and managing your own time.Excellent interpersonal skills, to motivate and influence at all levels.The ability to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must have a full driving licence.How we Attract, Reward & Retain Our Employees: Basic Salary – £30-40,000 Subject to experienceOvertime, Travel Time & Call-outCompany VehicleAviva PensionLife Assurance 4x Salary20 Days Paid Holidays plus Bank HolidaysPaid Candidate Referral Scheme – up to £1,000 per referral, unlimited referrals.Mental Health & Well-being SchemeEmployee Recognition SchemeFree, secure, onsite parkingDevelopment and progression opportunitiesA Little More About Alarm Communications: We are a small, regionally focused business which gifts our clients a bespoke and reactive service with undivided attention & dedication.
