Behaviour Support Worker Location: Locks heath Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time/Part-time Salary Scale: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience) GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Locks Heath .
This role is pivotal in supporting children with behavioural challenges, helping them achieve their potential in a safe and nurturing environment.
Working closely with teaching staff and other support teams, you will implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and foster a culture of mutual respect and learning.

Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Worker: Provide one-on-one or group support to students exhibiting challenging behaviours.
Assist in developing and implementing behaviour intervention plans.
Build strong relationships with students to encourage engagement and motivation.
Monitor and record students' progress and report to the teaching staff.
Support the classroom teacher in managing behaviour during lessons and activities.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school ethos.
Qualifications for a Behaviour Support Worker: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs is preferred.
Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
