Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join one of our partner schools in Newport as a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with ALN and behavioural needs Build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff, offering emotional and social support Follow the school's safeguarding policies and procedures Create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can thrive and build confidence Adapt to changing situations and provide flexible support as needed What We're Looking For: Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we can help you obtain one) Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) Two professional references covering the last 24 months Experience supporting children with special educational needs is a plus, but we also welcome applicants with personal experience or a strong willingness to develop their skills in this area Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
