Teaching Personnel are currently seeking applications from Behaviour Support Assistants that are now looking to gain an experience in mainstream secondary schools in Oldham.
As a Behaviour Support assistant working within one of our key partner secondary schools you will be responsible for the running of 1:1 support sessions as well as small group support for identified students within the school.
These sessions will be inclusive for young pupils that are faced with social, emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to: To assist in the support of children with behavioural needs To assist with resolving the behavioural and emotional needs of children.
To develop a mutually supportive relationship with teaching staff To advise the teaching staff on the needs of particular students A desire to work with young people who present with challenging behaviour is essential Ideally, we would like to hear from experienced Behaviour Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants or from applicants with previous experience supporting individuals who are of the age range 11-16.
