Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking applications from Behaviour Support Assistants that are now looking to gain an experience in mainstream secondary schools in Oldham.
As a Behaviour Support assistant working within one of our key partner secondary schools you will be responsible for the running of 1:1 support sessions as well as small group support for identified students within the school.
These sessions will be inclusive for young pupils that are faced with social, emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to: To assist in the support of children with behavioural needs To assist with resolving the behavioural and emotional needs of children.
To develop a mutually supportive relationship with teaching staff To advise the teaching staff on the needs of particular students A desire to work with young people who present with challenging behaviour is essential Ideally, we would like to hear from experienced Behaviour Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants or from applicants with previous experience supporting individuals who are of the age range 11-16.
Full-time and part-time positions with immediate start dates Competitive pay in line with your responsibilities from £11.84 per hour Previous experience in a secondary school setting preferred however not essential Candidates must hold or be willing to apply for DBS that is registered to the update service If you are interested in becoming a Behaviour Support Assistant, please apply today with an up-to-date CV.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
