We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Behaviour Sports Mentor to join our team, working with primary schools and secondary schools across Nottinghamshire.
Role Overview: As a Behaviour Sports Mentor, you will use the power of sports to positively influence and support the behaviour and well-being of primary school students.
You will work closely with teachers and school staff to develop and implement sports-based interventions that promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and social skills.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver sports activities and programs that engage students and promote positive behaviour.
Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to address behavioural challenges.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate sports activities into the broader educational framework.
Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour improvements.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements: Relevant qualifications and experience in sports coaching, mentoring, or a related field.
Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting student development.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
