Teaching Personnel is looking for a skilled and empathetic Behaviour Specialist to work with SEN students in a high school in Ellesmere Port.

Role Overview: As a Behaviour Specialist, you will work closely with SEN students who require additional behavioural support to thrive academically and socially.
Your role will involve developing and implementing individual behaviour plans, providing one-to-one support, and collaborating with teaching staff to create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Work directly with students to manage and support positive behaviour development.
Develop, implement, and monitor tailored behaviour intervention plans for individual students.
Provide one-on-one support to SEN students, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to promote best practices in behaviour management.
Track progress, document interventions, and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies as needed.
Requirements: Proven experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and the ability to implement them effectively.
Exceptional patience, resilience, and empathy when working with students facing behavioural challenges.
Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or behaviour management (desirable).
A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
