A primary school in Angmering are currently looking for a full time Individual Needs Assistant with SEN experience to start with them in November until the end of the academic year.
The school are looking for someone with experience working with children with Autism and challenging behaviours.
The ideal candidate will have a background working within mainstream or SEN schools and available to start in November.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30-3.30pm The Applicant: Level 2/3 teaching assistant or relevant teaching assistant experience.
Will have relevant SEN experience within an education setting or from home or care work Knowledge and experience of primary curriculum Be well versed in behaviour management strategies.
Be nurturing and caring.
Grace C or above in Maths and English Will have excellent communication skills (non-verbal skills desired but not essential).
Responsibilities: Working as general Teaching assistant Working 1-1 helping to reach appropriate, related targets.
Leading small group sessions promoting key skills needed within general lessons.
Assisting within the classroom behaviour where needed.
Communicating effectively with parents and staff.
