Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale F: £25,404 to £27,557 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£27,711 - £30,060 full time/full year equivalent)Working Weeks: Term Time plus 3 weeks (41 weeks)NPA is a great school, with a fantastic team of people all dedicated to making a difference in the lives of all of our pupils.
We are hardworking, positive and solution focused.We have a vacancy for an energetic, resilient and solution focused person, who wants to make a difference in our pupils' lives.We have a great opportunity to join our excellent pastoral team as a Behaviour Lead and to be the first point of contact for our families, working with parents, carers, staff and pupils to ensure the highest levels of pastoral support.The role involves being an Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead and you may be required to attend multi-agency meetings in line with this.You will have recent experience of working with vulnerable pupils to promote positive behaviour strategies and to help pupils access all aspects of school life.Before applying, please read the attached Recruitment Pack and Job Description, for more details about the role.

This will support your application ensuring you have the opportunity to tell us about your relevant skills, experience and qualifications that relate to the job description and person specification in addition to details of your references covering the last 5 years.In this role you will: Support behaviour mentors and parents to model and support the behaviours for learning that will help pupils to succeed.Line manage behaviour mentors to be the best they can be.Work every day in a child-focused way to find solutions for our most vulnerable pupils to succeed.Have experience of safeguarding or be willing to train and learn.Show a commitment to professional growth, feedback, and personal development.Plan and timetable appropriate nurturing and supportive interventions.Write behaviour risk assessments and positive behaviour plans.Work with the vice principal to drive the culture for brilliant behaviours and attitudes across the academy.
The ideal candidate will: Be Norfolk Steps trained.Have the experience and confidence to work with families and the ability to interact well with all stakeholders.Have knowledge and experience of a variety of strategies to support pupils in school.Be a trained DSL or willing to undertake training.
Desirable criteria: Norfolk Seps trainerTrauma informed training.
