Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Facilities Directorate for highly enthusiastic and professional Domestic Assistants to be part of the Bed Turnaround Team based at the Maidstone Hospital.We are looking for individuals who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills who are well motivated, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
In this busy role your highly reactive skills will be crucial while maintaining attention to detail, a calm manner and professionalism.
Main duties of the job We offer a per week contract, with the following work pattern: o Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 10pm.
We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills who are well-motivated, hardworking, and ready to contribute as part of a supportive team.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Basic numeracy & literacy Desirable NVQ Level 2 Cleaning & Support Services.
Relevant cleaning qualification BICS or Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate.
Experience/Knowledge Essential To have worked in a service/customer environment or comparable experience of working within a similar environment.
Desirable Previous working experience within an NHS environment within Domestic Services.
To have an understanding of COSHH and risk assessments Skills Essential Have a working knowledge of health and safety policies, infection control and work procedures.
Have the ability to follow instructions, training, process and procedures.
Ability to be able to respond to unpredictable situations.
Be calm, focused and able to cope with work under pressure.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
Able to work as required with supervision available.
Able to carry out moving and handling duties.
Have the ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the job role and service often with unpredictability.
Desirable Working knowledge in the use of operating mechanical and electrical cleaning machinery.
