At Bath Spa University, we are seeking a Science Technical Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
This term-time-only role (37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year) is ideal for someone who values a great work-life balance.

About the Role As our Science Technical Assistant, your contributions will directly impact the success of teaching, research, and workshops at Bath Spa University.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our labs and teaching spaces are ready for action-setting up equipment, organising resources, and providing direct support to staff and students.
Your day will be full of variety: maintaining health and safety standards, responding to queries with a can-do attitude, monitoring stock, and keeping our labs clean, organised, and ready to inspire.
You'll also work closely with technical colleagues to ensure teaching and practical sessions run smoothly, helping to bring exciting science lessons to life.

Some evening and weekend working may be required for this role.
The arrangement of working hours will be agreed in advance with the line manager.
