Bartender

Job Description £11.92 per hour depending on experience Full time permanent position 40 hours per week worked over 5 days mainly evening shifts and weekends Shifts between 12.30  to 00.00 Greet guests, take orders and serve food and drinks Answer all queries about the menu including drinks and make suggestions Take ownership of guest's requirements and food allergies Set up the dining areas and process charges and payments Effectively communicate with managers and all colleagues Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures Qualifications Experienced bartender Knowledge of traditional cocktails and spirits Experience with handling guest queries and complaints Natural passion and flair for the industry and food A calm mature approach Ambition to succeed at the highest levels Dedicated team player with strong communication skills Ability to work unsupervised using own initiative when needed Willing to learn new things Additional Information An additional share of service charge and tips every 2 months (about 2/3 k per year) 28-day holiday including bank holidays Paid day off on your birthday Complimentary stay at the castle after 3 months' probation period successfully passed Training programs via internal & external professionals and access to online training facilities Staff and Family rates on hotel accommodation and discounts on food and beverage Recognition programs Opportunity to have staff rate at Relais & Chateaux properties Free uniform, meals whilst on duty and free parking
