Barista

My client is a Coffee Shop based at West Hampstead.
45 hours/week work.
Shift 7 am to 3:30 pm or 8 am to 5:30 pm.
Sponsorship provided.
Salary - £29,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.)
and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment efficiently and safely.
Maintain consistency in drink preparation, ensuring quality and presentation.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
Provide recommendations and answer customer queries about the menu.
Handle transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system, including processing payments and giving change.
Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor and replenish stock levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
Inform management of low inventory or equipment issues.
Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep the work area, equipment, and dining area clean and organized.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards, including sanitizing equipment and utensils.
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
