Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of multiple schools in the area who cater for children between the ages of 4-19.
All schools cater for children with special educational needs (SEN) so you could be asked to support students with: Autism (ASC) ADHD Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD) Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Speech and Language Difficulties Physical disabilities In some schools, you may be asked to support students with personal care but this is not essential.
We support many schools where this is not a requirement and wouldn't expect you to do this if you were not comfortable.
Your role as a TA can make a transformative difference in a child's educational journey, helping them develop the confidence, skills, and independence they need to succeed.
Some key aspects of your role will include: Building trust and rapport Breaking down tasks and simplifying instructions to help students focus Promoting independence Managing behavioural challenges We are looking for applicants who: Have experience supporting children or adults with special needs Are patient and resilient Show empathy and compassion Are flexible and adaptable Have a good sense of humour and don't take themselves to seriously We are able to support with full time, part time and flexible work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
