Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented support workers in Maryport, to work within an established service, supporting 4 people.
This service will be supporting people with learning disabilities and is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of others.
Seaview is a 3 story home with lovely gardens, overlooking the Solway coast!
It lies within a quiet village and the closest shops are around 8 miles away in the nearest town.
They do have access to a vehicle too.
We love getting out and about from exploring local amenities to going to watch dancing on ice live!
We all have our own individual interests and explore these independently with assistance from staff as well as spending time out together.
We are a mixed bunch, ranging in how out going we are and how much of a social battery we have!
We get along with people who are laid back and enjoy helping us to achieve our aspirations.
Our staff team work a three shift rota including: early shift; 8am - 3.30pm, late shift; 2.30pm - 10pm and night shift; 10pm - 8am.
We usually have at least two staff on shift during the day and one on at night.
Full training would be given to anyone who joins our staff team to ensure they can support us.
We have both full and part time roles available.
A driver is preferred due to the location of the service.
