Trust Housing Association has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Support Worker (Older People) to join our teamat Viewforth Court, Kinghorn, Fife KY3 9RZ.In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as a Bank Supported Housing Worker we will offer you: -Bank shifts worked over a rolling 4 week rota.Mix of day and back shifts, working both weekdays and weekendsDay shifts – 8.30am – 8.00pm with 1 hour unpaid lunchBack shift – 3.00pm-8.00pmCompetitive hourly rate of £12.15 per hour Paid PVG check & Professional Membership including SSSCAccess to paid training and a vocational qualification What we're looking for in our Support Workers:You'll be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible.
You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room, there may also be very occasional kitchen duties.
It'll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you'll bring to this important role.
Support Worker Skills and Experience:Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these.
