We care about our people, and we care about the future of eye health and how CHEC can play an innovative part in making this great, with your help.Are you a Theatre Practitioner who wants to take control of your own rota with flexibility to work the shifts that suit you?We are looking for flexible Theatre Practitioners to join our bank, as we continue to expand throughout the UK!About the RoleThe key responsibilities of the Theatre Practitioner will be to focus on patient centric care, participating in the entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management.You will be an experienced Theatre Practitioner undertaking preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrub under AfPP good practice guidance.We are looking for someone who can:Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, friends, and familiesPrepare clinical areas for clinical activitiesAssist surgeons in the delivery of ophthalmic careAdmission and discharge of patientsParticipate in departmental auditsPro-active and keen to learn and have a passion to deliver quality careHave effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skillsThrives in a team environmentTo be successful in this role you will need: Previous ophthalmic theatre experience is required.Evidence of relevant professional development, clinically, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration / ODP with valid HCPC RegistrationUp-to-date knowledge in area of practice.Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsPassion for delivering first- rate patient safety and careAbout CHECCommunity Health and Eyecare are an independent service provider that specialise in Ophthalmology and Endoscopy services supporting the NHS.
